This specialized course focuses on the safe execution of lifting and hoisting activities through proper coordination between riggers, signalmen, and banksmen. Participants will understand their specific roles and responsibilities, mastering the techniques required to guide and control lifting operations in line with regulatory standards. It emphasizes safe load handling, hazard identification, communication signals, and use of rigging equipment. With practical sessions and scenario-based exercises, this course improves operational safety and efficiency. Successful completion reduces the risk of lifting accidents and enhances team synchronization on construction, industrial, and heavy-lift sites.

What Will You Learn?
  • Participants will gain practical knowledge in load calculation, sling angles, center of gravity concepts, and safe use of rigging gear. The course teaches correct hand signals, radio communication standards, and positioning for banksmen during crane operations. Inspection techniques for slings, shackles, hooks, and lifting equipment are emphasized, along with load stability checks and tag line use. Safety procedures for lifting in confined spaces or near overhead utilities are covered, ensuring compliance with national safety regulations.
