This course delivers practical and regulatory knowledge for preparing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP). It outlines procedures to assess environmental risks before and during project execution, and how to mitigate those through structured planning. Emphasis is placed on integrating environmental planning into project lifecycles, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The training bridges technical documentation with field implementation and equips professionals to support responsible development. It’s ideal for infrastructure, industrial, and development projects where environmental protection is essential.

What Will You Learn?
  • Participants will learn the complete lifecycle of an Environmental Impact Assessment—from baseline environmental surveys and stakeholder consultation to risk analysis and mitigation planning. You'll understand CEMP structure and its integration into daily project operations. Topics include scoping, impact prediction (air, water, noise, biodiversity), documentation preparation, and monitoring indicators. Regulatory requirements for submitting EIA reports and engaging with environmental authorities will be covered.
