Job Description / Responsibility
- The Analyst, Application’s, primary focus is to support and help develop manufacturing business processes. The Analyst, Application will work closely with IT and business resources in the head office and manufacturing facilities. The IT Analyst, Application reports to the Manager, Applications in our Montreal Corporate office who is the link between users and the IT department.
- The mandate will include documenting, analyzing, and resolving production issues; developing minor enhancement solutions, testing, and implementing initiatives to solve business problems.
- Provide production support.
- Support Business Analysts, Application to work on business requirements for system changes test changes and manage implementation of new functionality with IT resources and users.
- Support users in understanding the use of business application software, primarily JDE World or any related manufacturing related applications.
- Support Business Analysts, Application regarding documentation of new processes or procedures.
- Creation of testing documentation, create specifications or proposals, training materials, all in a continuous improvement / system development life cycle context.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies, Garments, Textile, Group of Companies
Additional Job Requirements
- Age at least 24 years
- Experience working in a manufacturing/supply chain related environment.
- Experience with an ERP system – JD Edwards would be an asset.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to solve problems.
- Ability to display intuitive judgment.
- Good written and oral skills in English.
