ARMY
Generally, circulars are published twice a year. Cadets get opportunity to study in Engineering, BBA, Economics, IR at Academy. After completing the training, the corps are selected for new officers. Also, the subjects studied at Academy has role for selecting the corps.
NAVY
There are different branches of BN, among those Executive, Engineering, Electrical and Supply branches are the main.
Business studies background cadets study BBA and are selected for the supply branch. Others are selected for different branches during training.
FIR FORCE
General Duties (Pilot), General Duties (Navigator), Engineering, Logistic, Administrative, Air Traffic Control, Air Defense Weapons Controllers, Education, Legal, Accounts, Meteorological are the main branches at BAF.
INTERVIEW
In Armed Forces Interview is a vital examination to judge a candidate.
Candidates uniform, out look, clean shave with trimmed hair (male), formal dress up, polished shoes add positive marks.
Language skill including gesture & posture, eye contact, the tone of voice, willingness to serve, emotional maturity & I Q are the main factors.
General knowledge on current affairs, academic knowledge are also judged.
Manners and ettiquetttes, environmental background also play a good role.
OUTLOOK
Formal dress-up with the polished shoe, trimmed hair with the clean shave (male), a matched tie & belt will make you a gentleman. Manners & customs with tell your family background and aristocracy. You will never feel such confidence if you go to the board like this.
LANGUAGE SKILL
Your communication skill with tone of voice, choice of words, gesture, posture, eye contacts will make an extra impression on you.
Knowledge on different types of general knowledge and academic questions will prove your efficiency to be an officer.
CONFIDENCE
Mental ability, maturity, emotional balance and Intelligence will make you confident.
Your public speaking skill with the practical knowledge, problem-solving capability with situational management techniques will make you confident which you were never before.
WRITTEN
ARMY Long Course

Bengali, English, General Mathematics, General Knowledge –
30 Marks in Math and English, In Bengali and GK 20 marks each. Except Bengali, Ques will be in English language. Math Ques will be in Bengali and English (Both).

Medical Test
EYESIGHT AND COLOUR VISION TEST
- Eyesight: 6/6, power- max 2.5 is allowed.
- Colour blindness: Basic colour vision is required.
- Lasik allowed (see circular)
- Squint is also examined.
EAR & THROAT
- Eardrum, infections, and hearing ability are examined.
- Throat- Tonsil, lymph nodes, Heartburn / Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Salivary Gland Diseases and Disorders, Sore Throat, Strep Throat, Swallowing Disorders (Dysphagia), Tonsillitis, Voice Disorders.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
For viva written Tests, candidates will get exclusive interview session and written classes. For ISSB test, candidates will practice through the same environment as ISSB.
The chief Instructor is a Retd Officer from ISSB. In addition, he is a veteran psychologist and assessor. Besides him, a number of Ex defence personnel are engaged with this operation.
Defence Care has its own IQ software facility. Candidates can use the IQ software and Computer lab facility.
Defence Care has all the field items according to ISSB Tests. Candidates will practice all exercises as per schedule.
